Nigerian Army Partners with Family Homes Funds to Boost Affordable Housing for Soldiers

The Nigerian Army, through its Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL), has entered into a strategic partnership with Family Homes Funds Limited to enhance housing options for military personnel.

This collaboration was officially launched during a courtesy visit by PHDL’s Managing Director, Major General Joseph Omali, to the Family Homes Funds headquarters in Abuja.

The initiative focuses on addressing the critical housing needs of soldiers under the Affordable Home Ownership Option for All Soldiers (AHOOAS) program. It aligns with the Army’s broader vision to provide sustainable living solutions for its members.

During the meeting, Omali underscored PHDL’s mission to tailor housing solutions to the military community’s unique needs. He expressed confidence that this partnership would significantly accelerate efforts to create affordable housing for soldiers.

Abdul Mutallab Mukhtar, Managing Director of Family Homes Funds, welcomed the PHDL delegation, affirming his organization’s commitment to supporting housing initiatives that benefit Nigerians. He emphasized the importance of the collaboration in achieving their shared goals.

The visit concluded with discussions on potential areas of cooperation, setting the stage for future engagements aimed at expanding affordable homeownership opportunities for military personnel.
